Adi Shankaracharya Statue

Mr Arun Yogiraj crafted the Adi Shankaracharya statue at Kedarnath. He first got the opportunity to showcase the model to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He worked on creating Adi Shankaracharya's statue for almost 14 hours daily for nine months. While working on the statue, his father, his mentor and biggest supporter, passed away. It was devastating for him but he found solace in his work. He channeled his grief into creating a masterpiece and decided to make a fitting tribute to his father. He created a masterpiece 12 foot statue composed of 18 pieces seamlessly joined together, with the joints remaining undetectable. This achievement brought immense pride to his family.
